Bug Description

Binary package hint: apt-xapian-index

this bug is just one of very many that I have experienced while trying to install Ubuntu 11.04 Daily Build (64-bit PC (AMD64) alternate install CD) on VirtualBox OSE

the OS installed, but I don't seem to have the Unity desktop; the desktop I see is a combination of Ubuntu Classic and 11.04 without the tabs on the side;

i got this most recent error message after using synaptic to perform an update
