Title: update-apt-xapian-index crashed with ValueError in setupIndexing()
UserGroups:
Seeing same problem on Ubuntu 11.04 on a few identically configured apt-xapian- index.
machines (lab of 200; problem affected 3!). Appears to be some
corruption in /var/lib/
Cause unknown, but a simple workaround that works for me (on all 3
broken PCs) is:
rm -rf /var/lib/ apt-xapian- index
After this,
update- apt-xapian- index
completes successfully.
