update-apt-xapian-index crashed with OSError in <module>()

Binary package hint: apt-xapian-index

I'm using Ubuntu 8.10 (updated today), and apt-xapian-index is in version 0.15. I just run synaptic from ALT-F2 with my normal user. After synaptic has started, I closed them (without do nothing) and the error occur.
