Bug Description
I did an offline-
but specified manually the ip-address etc. the system will get later.
Looking at the console-output, it looks like the installer thinks,
based on the given ip-address, that it has access to the internet
and tries to contact archive.ubuntu.org, security.ubuntu.org etc,
and each time waiting for timeout, which slows down the
install very much.
After the first unsuccessful download, the installer should
* ask/warn the user about the internet-access
* remember that internet-access is not available,
and skip further attempts
* perhaps shutdown the interface eth0
