The files "feedback_on" and "feedback_on.odt" show the commands executed on the on-line (machine with internet access). This includes the version of apt-offline, the version of Ubuntu, and the output from the "apt-offline get ..." with the verbose flag set. stdout and stderr have been merged into these files. The "feedback_on.odt" is in libreoffice writer format and includes more verbose description of the context of commands executed and the location of the error, with highlighting and color added to germane portions.

The offline machine is an Ubuntu server 14.04 LTS machine. It has the following packages installed:

From the description so far, it sounds like both the repositories are providing packages with the same name. So, in case of this bug report, this must be a Ubuntu issue, and not an apt-offline issue.
Have you checked if adding external repositories is supported by Ubuntu?
OTOH, if you find an issue in apt-offline specifically, please report it upstream at: https:/ /github. com/rickysarraf /apt-offline
I try my best to keep an eye here, but as you see, this got missed for 5 months.
