Bug Description

I am going through the video here - http://www.jonobacon.org/2012/02/28/tutorial-video-reporting-a-bug-in-ubuntu/ and basically the same instructions as here - https://help.ubuntu.com/community/ReportingBugs

When I get to "A window will then pop up, asking you if you want to report the bug. Click "Send Report" if you wish to proceed, or click "Content of the report" if you want to review the information Apport collected."

I click send report and nothing happens. After a much searching I realized that Firefox had a non-bold arrow next to it and decided to click it, it took me to the workspace to the right.

I just tested again with FF closed and it focused it this time. I would think that it should either pop up the icon in the dock like Mac does or just take me to the workspace where firefox is, the latter being preferred. I noticed many issues with window focusing in 11.10 and it appears it is still here for 12.04.

Please fix window focusing, especially to report a bug.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. It seems that your bug report is not filed about a specific source package though, rather it is just filed against Ubuntu in general. It is important that bug reports be filed about source packages so that people interested in the package can find the bugs about it. You can find some hints about determining what package your bug might be about at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/FindRightPackage. You might also ask for help in the #ubuntu-bugs irc channel on Freenode.

To change the source package that this bug is filed about visit https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/971865/+editstatus and add the package name in the text box next to the word Package.

Arghhh - The title of this was changed on the form input to "ubuntu-bug will not focus browser if in a different workspace" but I had an error in the form where my keywords had quotes in them so it looks like when the error correction happened it overwrote the title with the original title. If someone could change the title to "ubuntu-bug will not focus browser if in a different workspace" that would be appreciated.

Also, of note, I chose to file the bug against "ubuntu-bug" as the package and it said it did not exist so I chose "I don't know" and it kept throwing an error but wouldn't show me where, finally I deleted "ubuntu-bug" from the package field in addition to selecting "I don't know" and the form was successful.

p.s. We really need to make it easy to submit bugs. ubuntu-bug is a great, awesome step in that direction and while I would not mark this as critical it kind of is. If we want to make it easy for people to submit bugs then all the issues described in this comment apply as well.
