Bug Description
I tried to report a bug against synergy, which has been installed from universe. Apport-bug complained, that the problem could not be reported because synergy was not a genuine Ubuntu package. Aptitude info shows, that synergy seems to be built by the getdeb project, but apt-cache policy also shows, that it is installed. However - and this is where I believe the situation should be improved - apport-bug did not tell my a reason for the failure nor did it provide any help as what to do next. It should at least say "Look at the page URL for more information on the package" or "send an email to the following address to report an error". Anything like that would improve on the situation.
