apport-gtk crashed with TypeError in ui_present_crash(): glib.markup_escape_text() takes at most 1 argument (2 given)

I had this issue for the last few days where a system error occurred that didn't give me a chance to report it. Each time I clicked on report, I got the password dialogue but from that moment on nothing happened. The system error message kept popping back up after a few moments, and this continued ad nauseum. Maybe this is related?
