Bug Description
Binary package hint: apport
Version: 0.47
When reporting a bug with apport, a browser window should open with the crash details attached. Instead, when it is run as root, no browser window is open which leaves the user thinking the bug was reported automatically.
Reproduction steps:
1. Start the Herd 3 live CD
2. Click on the apport crash report in the notification area
3. Confirm the bug and click the "Send report" button.
Expected result:
The browser opens up as claimed
Actual result:
The apport GUI closes silently.

It's rather important for apport to work in the case of all bugs.
