no response when using "Report a problem..." in the menu

Bug Description

Binary package hint: apport

Ubuntu 9.10
apport version: 1.9.3-0ubuntu4.2

Expected:
Should pop up and ask for input.

What happened:
Nothing.
.xsession-errors says:
Usage: apport-gtk [options] [symptom|pid|package|program path|.apport/.crash file]

apport-gtk: error: -c option requires an argument

Thank you for opening this bug and helping make Ubuntu better. For the record, this is not an apport issue, but most probably in the "Report a problem" implementation on a specific package.

Can you tell me where did you select this option?

In the main menu.
Main menu -> System tools -> Report a problem...

apport-gtk: /usr/share/applications/apport-gtk-mime.desktop

This doesn't exist. Please do not use the menu editor to show files which are not applications. This is just a MIME link.

Users keep enabling this, so I'll fix the .desktop file to not ever appear in the menu editor.
