In gnome menu there's an entry called report a problem.I clicked it no thing happened.I attaching a screenshot.I dont know how to get a screen shot while the menu is on.Print screen dosent work.So i took it after opening "edit menus" option by right clicking gnome menu. Its the one with brown highlighting.

Hi! I've done some investigation and you shouldn't activate the "Report problem ..." in System Tools through "Main Menu". That's to be called when you click in some .crash file using Nautilus, and not directly from Gnome menu.

Changed in apport (Ubuntu):
assignee: nobody → Marco Rodrigues (gothicx)
status: Confirmed → Invalid

Well, if it is not meant to be clicked, it should not be displayed in the menu, I would think. Or the menu option should be renamed. "Send crash report" e.g.

Besides, since bug reporting is so much encouraged, one expects a "Report bug" option in the main menu. A link to the ubuntu-bug program and/or the papercuts web page would be helpful.

Or should I post this comment on the papercuts pages? ;-)

This is correct, in a fresh Ubuntu install this menu won't appear. You need to select it from System -> Preferences -> Main Menu. This desktop file is to be used by the associated mime-type, when you click in .crash or .apport files trough nautilus.
