Bug Description
Binary package hint: apport
I trying to report a bug with my live cd (and ChrootRecovery) because I cant access to my real partition of linux for problems with udev. Then I use chroot for report a bug, but apport crash it. For example:
$ sudo chroot /media/karmic ubuntu-bug python-apport
hook /usr/share/
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/lib/
symb[
File "/usr/share/
st = os.statvfs(mount)
OSError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: '/home/ubuntu'
sudo: unable to resolve host ubuntu
(gnome-open:27367): GLib-WARNING **: getpwuid_r(): failed due to unknown user id (999)
(gnome-open:27367): libgnomevfs-WARNING **: Unable to create ~/.gnome2 directory: Permission denied
Could not create per-user gnome configuration directory `/.gnome2/': Permission denied
I know that it is a weird thing, but it is neccesary for report some bugs.
