Can you please check whether this crash happened at logout (and was just reported at the next login), or whether apport-gtk actually crashes a while after logging in?

Seb, what would be the real culprit of this? pygtk?

Can you reproduce this every time? If so, can you please run "ubuntu-bug apport" from a terminal and check whether this gives you any messages? (Please don't actually file another bug, though, this is just to test the UI).

Thanks!

weird things can happen a session closing, you might want to register to the session to avoid those or try to ignore those issues, in any case the pygtk behaving weirdly when no display set is bug #86698

Thanks, Seb. So this is a duplicate of bug 86698 if John confirms that the crash indeed happens at logout (check the Date: field in the report in the details view) and not at login.
