apport can't apparently generate anything but damaged reports

Apport apparently can't generate anything but damaged crash reports in some instances for me.

Version 0.108.2

I crash epiphany-gecko occasionally, and apport catches it and generates a crash report...then, when it prompts me to report problem, it informs me that the problem report is damaged and cannot be processed, and stops.

Ubuntu 8.10, apport 0.119:

What happens:
* It fails to run from the 'Applications > System Tools' menu
* Attempting to run from the command line with '/usr/share/apport/apport-gtk -c %f' (copied from the menu entry) gives the error message (in a popup) "This problem report is damaged and cannot be processed". So I'm guessing this is connected to this bug report.

I'm not sure this is really a duplicate, since Rich never mentioned to run '/usr/share/apport/apport-gtk -c %f'.

Rich, is this still a problem for you? If so, the bug should get un-duped (you could do so yourself).
