Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better.

I failed to reproduce the missing "Show Details" option in a Ubuntu 22.04 VM with your installed apport packages. I checked the code to see if this button is conditionally hidden but I found nothing relevant in this regard.

Can you state how to reproduce it? What command did you use? What did you click? Can you reproduce it? Maybe add a screenshot.

Thanks Benjamin,

I'll let you know as soon as another apport-gtk window without the "show details" button surfaces.

Not sure if it's relevant, but I'm using the ubunut-budgie flavor of 22.04 on an Asus Vivobook;

Some more info;

The LightDM install I use with slick-greeter & customize with the lightdm-settings package works now.
It did throw a lot of apport issues before I got it working, so that would be a potential source of my recent troubles.

You can run `ubuntu-bug` on the command line and specify a .crash from from `/var/crash` (e.g. `ubuntu-bug /var/crash/_usr_lib_xorg_Xorg.0.crash`).

Thanks Benjamin,

The ubuntu-bug approach has the details button I missed before, so for me the issue is solved.

EDIT

Just crashed my device with (ab)use of bluetoothctl & hciconfig and there was no details button again.
Sent the bugreport with ubuntu-bug.

Thanks for the feedback.

Once you miss the "Show Details" option again, please take a screenshot, record the exact steps, and re-open this bug. Until then I am marking it as invalid.
