Bug Description

Binary package hint: apport

spent 10 hours downloading over 1 Gb of upgrade files for latest version of ubuntu.
the process seems to have been interrupted by this bug.
there were several error messages during the install, relating to glx.
this may be due to scripts like Envy and Automatix, which were used to get certain aspects of my current system functional.
