apport command line dialog prints dots while waiting for input of sudoer choise and password

When an application offers to include additional file which require permissions for transmission and there're multiple sudoers, the command line dialog prompt for a numerical choice and the password. While it waits for input it prints annoying dots into the input prompts, see the example output for details:
