With upstart handling the user session (which will be the case in "s"), gnome-session is becoming an upstart job and having it output logged in .cache/

Oh, extra note: if other D.E than unity opt-in for using upstart for their session, they will likely need a similar change with gnome-session -> <session manager in use>
