apport falls into infinite loop

Bug Description

Whenever apport gets triggered or when I manually invoke report to report a bug it goes into an infinite loop, not answwering, exiting, nor opening a window and it takes 100% CPU until I kill it. I do not get any files in /var/crash/, so there is also no way to manually investigate the problem.

This is a severe problem to fix the final bugs and to get testing feedback in the end of the Quantal cycle. Therefore I mark it as "Critical"...

This isn't happening on my Quantal system. Any hints on how to reproduce? Thanks.

How far do you get with this? I. e. if you run "apport-bug coreutils", do you see anything, or does it just go into the infinite loop straight away? Do you see anything on stdout/err? If no, can you please run

  strace -fvvs1024 -o /tmp/trace apport-bug coreutils

let it run for a few secs, then bzip2 /tmp/trace and attach /tmp/trace.bz2 here? Thanks!

Apport problem is appearing again. On each start of cupsd avahi-daemon goes to 100% CPU intil restarting avahi-daemon.

I mean that the Avahi problem is appearing again. Apport is behaving normally.
