I added dbus support to aa-logprof in AppArmor 2.11, and I'd guess *) 16.04 has an older version.

*) I use openSUSE ;-)

This was fixed some time ago with the apparmor 2.11 based upload to Ubuntu 17.10.

There are currently no plans to SRU this fix to Ubuntu 16.04 LTS.
