Bug Description
Binary package hint: rasmol
Add/Remove (gnome-app-install) contains two instances of RasMol which are:
RasMol (GTK version)
RasMol (classic version)
Since these are dependent on each other, there should only be one instance of the application which calls on the other package as a dependency when downloading/
Version Information:
Ubuntu Hardy (2.6.24-19-generic)
gnome-app-install 0.5.2.8-0ubuntu1
rasmol 2.7.3.1-3ubuntu1

You have two different versions of the same program, a classic and a gtk version in hardy. But... your idea is good, you could try to post it like Wishlist or tell it to the mainteiner of Rasmol and ask him why it appears two times in Add/remove or a mainteiner of Add/Remove application.
If you look for it in Terminal, you will find:
apt-cache search rasmol >>>> Only appear rasmol and rasmol-doc
But in Add/Remove appears two times too.
Thanks for report it!
