Bug Description

Running the amd64 version of Ubuntu, when I open gnome-app-install and select Opera or Real Player, it informs me that I need to enable the commercial channel. When I consent to this, it downloads a new package list, then displays the 'checking installed and available applications' progress bar, and, finally, asks me to enable dapper-commercial again. It does this over and over again, forever, until I cancel.

I believe this is because there are no amd64 packages of these applications in the repositories. In this case, they should not be displayed as installable on amd64.

Correct there are no builds for 64 for these apps and should not be displayed as installable at all.

Thanks for your bugrpeort.

This is fixed in the edgy version of gnome-app-isntall. Unfortunately this feature is not yet in the dapper version.

Cheers,
 Michael
