Bug Description

Binary package hint: apache2

Hi, it would be nice if the apache2 package included an upstart script, rather than the old init.d style script. This would make it possible to have other process using upstart mark apache2 as a dependency. At the moment I have a few applications I would like to have start automatically on startup, but only after apache is running.

I see someone has made one that they are using privately, but it would be nice if something like this could be made official and maintained.

I'd also like to see an upstart script included by default

Closing as no longer relevant, since upstart is no longer the default init system for Ubuntu.
