Bug Description

Binary package hint: apache2

apache2.2-common has now been through four or five updates, none of which are successful. Since this package was broken, I have not been able to upgrade apache at all. It seems fatally flawed with no means to fix it.

This self-same bug occurs on all my systems whether AMD64 or Intel 32 bit. SIX SYSTEMS ARE AFFECTED.

As this has been going on for several weeks now, is there any hope of a fix in the near future of do you advise I ditch Ubuntu and change to MS Win 7 ?
