Bug Description

Binary package hint: apache2

In feisty: When apache2 package (version 2.2.3-3.2) is selected for installation in Adept, it installs but then the web server does not launch automatically and cannot be launched manually because the file /etc/apache2/httpd.conf does not exist.

The /etc/init.d/apache2 script fails silently:

mike@continuity:~$ sudo /etc/init.d/apache2 start
mike@continuity:~$ sudo /etc/init.d/apache2 foo
mike@continuity:~$ sudo /etc/init.d/apache2 whatever
mike@continuity:~$ /usr/sbin/apache2
apache2: Syntax error on line 189 of /etc/apache2/apache2.conf: Could not open configuration file /etc/apache2/httpd.conf: No such file or directory
mike@continuity:~$
