Bug Description

When starting Anki (version 1.2.9) for the first time in Precise, I am prompted to click on Download to get started. Doing so
leads to a "deck" saying this version is no longer supported. (Trying to download this "deck" leads to a dialog with the following error message:

Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/share/anki/ankiqt/ui/getshared.py", line 190, in accept
    self.curRow[R_ID])
TypeError: %d format: a number is required, not unicode
)

It seems one can still create and import decks, but downloading is a dead end.

One easy way to "resolve this" is to update the "not supported" message referring Debian/Ubuntu users to download the latest .deb from the Anki website.
