[System] Need an official broken flashing image from design

One thing that we need to do, is showing something to the user in case the update process failed (e.g. corrupted file ystem/image, or just bugs), as at the moment we're basically just rebooting, giving the impression that the system was successfully updated. This needs happen on recovery, so there is really not much we can show to the user, besides an icon that would describe that the flashing failed (and that the phone might be broken).

Android shows the following image when the update process fails

My question is if this would also be the expected behavior from your side, and if so, what can we show to the user to say that the update process failed?

I know some of that logic is already covered at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/SoftwareUpdates#Download_or_installation_failure
, but in this case we can't really do much as we have limited access to network (as we're on recovery), and can only really show one image to the user (or rebooting, but that might not necessarily be always possible).

After talking with mpt over IRC, one idea would be to have a static image that could describe that the phone is in a broken state, besides showing an icon to the user (attached is what we currently have).

Would be nice if this could be officially reviewed by the design team, and update the specs to make sure we're doing the right thing :-)
