aMule doesn't save 'confirm on close' setting

aMule doesn't save 'confirm on close' setting and has a strange behaviour.

~$ lsb_release -rd

I set 'confirm on close before exit' [IT: 'Chiedi conferma prima di uscire'] in Preferences>General, click OK
and close; but if I open Preferences menu again, such option appear unchecked.

However, if I set to ask and try to close the app, aMule in fact do ask before closing.
