Amule closes completely when you close a search box.

Binary package hint: amule-utils-gui

After doing a search in aMule (2.1.3-1 in edgy), if you press the close button on the tab for the last search you did, it closes out the entire program. I have seen this happen on two different machines, one running Xubuntu and one running regular Ubuntu.

When running aMule from the command line, this is the output I get:
