Bug Description

Binary package hint: amule

The configuration file ~/.aMule/amule.conf (and likely others, I didn't check) became zero-length after a system crash. The file system I for my partitions is ext4, so very likely the issue is due to delayed allocation. For further information, see:

https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/317781

and namely:

As a workaround (will it be enough?) I now mount my partitions with auto_da_alloc; maybe you should consider to make it the default for karmic.
