Bug Description
Binary package hint: aMSN
amsn fails to connect. The internet connection is open and firefox connects fine; the MS live login connects using Hotmail, but not using amsn. Chat connection succeeds using Pidgin.
Expected behavior: aMSN connects.
Observed behavior: wifi or wired connection made, aMSN switches to "attempting to connect" mode, but never connects. Manual connection (disconnect, click sign in and wait) also doesn't work. All other web connection work fine.

0.97.1 contains a required fix for logging in to MSN-servers:

The Ubuntu repositories should be updated with the new protocol.
