system notifications not working in precise, sometimes start to work after a dozen or so minutes

Bug Description
I'm unsing ubuntu 12.04. In Amarok I've set that I want to use system notifications only. But after amarok starts I get info about playing songs in amarok built-in notifications. Here is screenshot:

Sometimes after a dozen or so minutes system notifications starts to work. Don't know why it's happening. I'm not sure if it's only amarok problem or all system notifications aren't working. Don't know how to check it.
Amarok version: 2:2.5.0-0ubuntu6

I've just noticed that thunderbird seems to fix notifications in amarok somehow. I had thunderbird opened for about a half hour now but didn't get any emails so thunderbird never used system notifications. So I've send email to myself and waited. After a minute thunderbird downloaded message and informed me using system notifications. After that also amarok started to show me info about songs played in system notifications. It looks like amarok don't start some system service that shows system notifications and it's using built-in notifications when there is no service running.
