2006-11-29 12:29:29 Freddy Martinez description Binary package hint: amarok When typing in any program and running Amarok, the On Screen Display will cover the text and will not allow the user to see what they are typing. This is on a Edgy Ubuntu system running GNOME 2.16.1 and Amarok 1.4.4. Binary package hint: amarok When typing in any program and running Amarok, the On Screen Display will cover the text and will not allow the user to see what they are typing. This is on a Edgy Ubuntu system running GNOME 2.16.1 and Amarok 1.4.4. Upon further investigation, this issue has to do with how Amarok's OSD handles tranparency, it isn't a real transparency but a "mini snapshot" of the background that is held in the OSD until the OSD vanishes.
2006-11-29 12:29:29 Freddy Martinez title on screen display lags text typing on screen display isn't truly transparent.
