Bug Description

Binary package hint: amarok

If amarok play some music I can't hear no sound from another application (vlc, mozilla-flash-plugin, kopete, etc..)

And vice-versa if I start another application using audio device (vlc, mozilla-flash-plugin) and then start amarok, I can't hear anything from it.

Other applications can make a sound simulateously with no problems.

Should be fixed in new installs of 10.10 and 11.04.

Bascially one application can block a sound device, so that no other devices can access it anymore. This is resolved by all of Kubuntu using PulseAudio, a central sound server.
