Bug Description

Binary package hint: amarok

Whenever I use amarok, even from the 1.x days, I create a playlist but I listen to the music in it with Playlist>Random>Tracks enabled. For some reason, with Amarok 2, even with that option enabled, it just keeps on moving to the next item in the queue instead of picking out a random track to play. IIRC, when I was trying out the Amarok2 betas when I was using Intrepid, this was working properly.

Anyway, details:

Still here for me with latest Lucid package (2:2.2.1.90-0ubuntu1) - I have no random-specific options and it doesn't work.

Actually... In Amarok 2.2.1.90, random tracks playing works well again.

Amarok developers changed its location. Look for the button below playlist.
