Bug Description

Binary package hint: amarok

I'm using Jaunty i686

When I try to build amarok using
%> mkdir ~/freshDir
%> cd ~/freshDir
%> sudo apt-get build-deps amarok
%> apt-get source amarok
%> cd amarok-2.0.2mysql5.1.30
%>dpkg-buildpackage -b -us -uc

I get

(see attached file: some build errors and a "patch cannot be applied" in the end)

. This makes it impossible to rebuild the amarok-dbg package which currently has no debugging symbols.

I can confirm this problem. Tried to build it in my freshly updated pbulider environment and it fails with same error.

I could compile it fine, using the default answer ([n]) just pushing enter at each question, this might make the power-pc mysql bug appear again.

The "bugging" patch is /debian/patches-amarok/03_mysqle_link_to_amarok_executable.diff and Patch (the program) thinks this is a reversed patch.

It's been several months, and clearly someone has been able to to build the package since we've gotten updated versions in the backports repo [1]. Could someone please confirm that the issue still exists in the 2.1 (or later) series?

Thanks!

Tried to build the version in backports with pbuilder and it did not yield out any errors. Installed it and it works.

Assume we can treat this one as "fix released" then.
