Bug Description

* Installed Ubuntu 8.10
* Installed package kde (not kubuntu-desktop)
* Logged in to a KDE session
* Installed amarok

Clicked on the amarok icon in the menu. The amarok icon flashed for a few seconds then disappeared and amarok didn't run.

Tried to run amarok in the terminal and received the message:

amarok: error while loading shared libraries: libkdeui.so.4: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Most interesting.
Please also post the output of
ldd /usr/bin/amarok
dpkg -S libkdeui.so.4
dpkg -L kdelibs4c2a
ls -la /usr/lib | grep kde

You might want to throw these in a text file and attach the file since
there is probably going to be quite some output :)

dpkg: *libkdeui.so.4* not found.

The rest are in the attached file.

Maybe i should add that i installed lyx and vi-full before kde and kate, amarok and k3b after kde.

Sorry for bugging, but is this still considered "incomplete"?

This shouldn't be a problem in Ubuntu 9.04, since Amarok has been upgraded to its KDE4 version.
