Bug Description

Binary package hint: amarok

I'm on Ubuntu Hardy 8.04 (kernel 2.6.24-18-generic) with Gnome 2.22.2 but without KDE.

I use Amarok 1.4.9.1 (2:1.4.9.1-0ubuntu3+medibuntu1)

There is a "bug" when I do this: right click on a file > Manage files > Delete files…

The image of the screen which appeared is in the attachment.

Despit this "message", the file seems to be really deleted...

Ok, the problem here is that Amarok 1.x relied on the KDE3 trash kio-slave, which is not available in Intrepid. (Since Intrepid is KDE4 based) But now that the Amarok in Jaunty is KDE4-based it will be able to use the KDE4 trash kio slave just fine. :-)

Changed in amarok:

Oh, nevermind. I thought you were running Intrepid for some reason. Anyway, this shouldn't be a problem with Amarok2 regardless.
