Amarok was removed because it used an older version of Qt:

It won't be added back in to current versions of Ubuntu, so if that is what you are asking for, this bug is a duplicate of that.

Amarok is finally working an a modern Qt5 version, but it is still in alpha/test state. One of the Amarok developers runs a PPA if you are interested:

Adolfo, this bug is not Invalid. Either it is a duplicate of 1757590, or it is a request to package the Qt5 version of Amarok, which would be 'Wishlist'.

Worth syncing into Oracular, maybe?

Debian version 3.0.1-1 (experimental) doesn't build on Ubuntu, so I'm adding a debdiff. I've confirmed that it builds in pbuilder and works when installed.

Also added an epoch (since it was present in earlier Ubuntu releases, so we'll probably have to carry it forever).

Hi Maia, thanks for the patch!

It looks good to me, although I am dropping the epoch. I doubt Launchpad will be upset about it, but this is also a somewhat rare case. (Upgrades from Bionic to Oracular directly will not be supported; the old amarok is likely to be removed along the way.)

It should be in here shortly: https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/oracular/+queue?queue_state=0&queue_text= - feel free to resubscribe sponsors with a new diff if this gets rejected.

Thank you!
