Bug Description

Binary package hint: amarok

I cannot get Amarok to load or play an Ogg vorbis file in Kubuntu Gutsy. I get the "These media could not be loaded into the playlist" error that's normally associated with either a corrupt file or one for which the computer doesn't have the correct codecs installed. However, xine and Kaffeine both play the files I've tested just fine.
I've tested ~10 files in each, but Amarok cannot load any Ogg Vorbis files (it has no problems loading MP3 or AAC files).

Okay, so I only have a problem adding from the Collection browser. If I add it from a playlist, it goes to the playlist and then can't play (no demux plugin).

Fixed! Just delete ~/.xine
I didn't find out what it was that caused this, but that's the solution.
