Amarok is packaged without locale files (po/mo translations)

Amarok, like kaffeine, are packaged without the localization files. I'm using Kubuntu
5.04 with pt_BR localization, and amaroK still remains in English.

This is fixed in the debian packages.

GCC4 compile fixes from SVN. Not complete, still not compiling.

Can you check that you have the language-pack-XX installed for your language?
I had this problem my self and though it was a bug, but it seems the po files are extracted from
amarok and put into the language-pack-xx packages.

The problem is that the translations of amarok are packaged in a nonstandard
way, so they cannot be imported into the language packs so far. Unless Rosetta
will be ready in time, I will adopt langpack-o-matic to handle that case as well.

I made the necessary importer changes, the translations will be in the next
language pack update.

Language packs were uploaded recently.
