Amarok has a typo in the Recommends field which would cause media-player-info not to be pulled in when installing amarok.

Accepted into quantal-proposed. The package will build now and be available in a few hours in the -proposed repository.

I installed amarok 2:2.6.0-0ubuntu2.1 from quantal-proposed, it successfully brought in media-player-info with it. No other changes were evident and I'm enjoying my music.
