Bug Description

alsa-ucm-conf is very out of date on 22.04, hardware support for a ton of motherboards that use the ALC4080 is missing.

Please update to v1.2.9 released a few weeks ago which fixes this.

Unfortunately, they can't update the ucm conf files alone. They would also need to update the ALSA libs to read the newer Syntax version ("Syntax 6").

I made a PPA for that a while ago: https://launchpad.net/~dtl131/+archive/ubuntu/mediahacks2?field.series_filter=jammy
If you use the PPA, you should be able to use alsa-ucm 1.2.11
(1.2.12 introduces another incompatible syntax change, "Syntax 7")
