Bug Description

Binary package hint: alsa-tools

alsa-tools (1.0.23-3) unstable; urgency=low

  [ Elimar Riesebieter ]
  * Removed udev from ld10k1's 'Depends:' and added udev to "# Should-Start:" in
ld10k1's initscript. This makes it possible to install ld10k1 on archs and
systems without the need to run udev.

Why did you add Vcs-Bzr tag? Are you intending to commit this to that repo?

alsa-tools (1.0.23-2ubuntu1) maverick; urgency=low

  * Merge from debian unstable. Remaining changes:
    - envy24control should use /sbin/alsactl
    - Vcs-Bzr uri
    - Use dh_installudev to install udev rules file

We don't just do things because somebody else did them too.

I don't see any recent versions of this package here:

I think we can abandon that branch, and stop adding the Vcs-Bzr entry.
Also, when adding a Vcs-* entry, you should delete the Debian ones.
