PCI/internal sound card not detected

     Happens on 11.10 and 12.04 Beta 1. On 11.10 the sound comes and goes. Rebooting doesn't necessarily bring sound back. On 12.04 beta 1 sound returns after reboot but like 11.10 stops working after a while.
