No sound at all even wtih headphone. Dooble boot with W7, soud on that OS is OK. Can hear the bip from the BIOS. Wath else?

Your soundcard is not supported in that release. You can upgrade to the upcoming release of Ubuntu (11.10) or use the method suggested here: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Audio/InstallingLinuxAlsaDriverModules
