Usb sound is muted after reboot

Bug Description

I am using a Logitech usb headset (actually, a couple of different versions of them). And every time the computer is rebooted the speaker volume of the headset is reset to zero. This is really annoying to run alsamixer after every reboot.

This release of Ubuntu is no longer receiving maintenance updates. If this is still an issue on a maintained version of Ubuntu please let us know.
