Traktor audio 2 interface does not work in 10.10

Hi,

I bought the traktor audio 2 based on the fact that I saw people claiming the "audio 2" worked in linux. It didn't immediately interface with ubuntu but I found this patch: http://permalink.gmane.org/gmane.linux.alsa.devel/82179 which indicates that there might be hope.

It'd be awesome if this patch could get integrated and make it either into a ppa, or into the next release of ubuntu.

Applying the patch in time for 11.04's release is highly improbable.
The commit itself is self-contained and unlikely to introduce
regressions, however, so I'm in favor of applying it for
natty-proposed.

It's also available now via the ubuntu-audio-dev PPA in the
linux-alsa-driver-modules package.

Is this fixed in Oneiric? I don't believe it is since we (Mixxx) still get regular reports from Audio2DJ users who cannot use their device.

Status changed to 'Confirmed' because the bug affects multiple users.

Still not fixed in 12.10. Only one channel available.

This release of Ubuntu is no longer receiving maintenance updates. If this is still an issue on a maintained version of Ubuntu please let us know.
