[USB-Audio - Labtec USB Speaker System] Playback problem

system sounds seem to work, but rhythmbox music player does not play music that I have on harddisk and neither does Firefox play any sounds in videos at YouTube and other. So I guess it is not the Labtec Speaker system that is at fault.
