Bug Description

Macbooks have a single audio port that can function as a headphone or microphone port depending on user setting. This can be controlled in Mac OS X's sound preferences.

Currently, Ubuntu only seems to be able to use the port as output, and there is no place I can see to change this. Neither gnome-volume-control and alsamixer seem to be able to control this feature.
